Here are two great examples of two different houses that have put in home solar power systems. This talk was given at Google as part of a series of "tech talks," as they call them. One guy was hoping to save money and do the right thing, and it sounds like he's a bit of a hobbyist by nature. Another guy, the guy who taught the first guy, had to use solar power because he built a house in the woods and he didn't have a choice.

Residential solar power is definitely becoming a reality.
